How to play Mancala
On your turn, tap one of the six pits on your bottom row. Its stones are sown one by one, counter-clockwise, into the following pits and your store.
If the last stone lands in your store, you get another turn.
If the last stone lands in an empty pit on your side, you capture that stone and the stones opposite it.
When one side is empty, the remaining stones go to the player on that side. The larger store wins.
Tips for a better run
- Count the stones before you sow; the last pit is the one that matters.
- A pit with two or three stones can set up a capture when the opposite side is loaded.
- Do not hand the rival an easy extra turn by emptying a pit carelessly.
