If the game does not load, open it directly.
How to play Gomoku
Black moves first. Tap an empty intersection to place a stone, then hand the phone to the other player.
The first player to line up five stones in a row wins: horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
Choose 9×9 for a quick game, or 13×13 and 15×15 for a longer board.
Play against the AI or pass the phone between two people.
Tips for a better run
- Build two threats at once; a single open three is easy to block.
- Watch both diagonals as well as the rows and columns.
- On the smaller board, the centre is worth more than an early edge.
Good for
A five-minute head-to-head for two people sharing a phone, or a medium bot when you are alone.
Controls
- Tap an empty intersection to place a stone.
