The Offline label on a game card now means the first-party game is cached by the Tapminute service worker after the first visit: no API call, no login, and no embedded third-party runtime. Open-source games that run in an embedded player are not in the offline set.

What works today

Visit a first-party game once while you have a connection. Its page, script, styles, and icons are added to the service worker cache. Open the installed app or reload the page without a network and it still starts. Scores and settings stay on the device.

What is not cached

The open-source games that run in an embedded player — Sudoku, Minesweeper, Klondike, Nonogram, and the rest — are deliberately left out. If you open one offline, Tapminute shows a short offline page and a link back to a cached game.

The four

Stack, Tap Rush, Lights Out, and Echo are first-party games with no external runtime. All four keep their best score on the device, and all four are in the service worker’s precache list.
